| You are
good candidate for refractive surgery if you meet the following guidelines:
- You are over 18 years
of age.
- You are not pregnant or
nursing.
- Your eye prescription has
been relatively stable for one year.
- Your eyes have no other
problems other than the need for glasses/contact lenses.
- You have no history of
auto-immune diseases (ie: lupus, rheumatoid arthritis).
- Your eyes have a refractive
error between +3.50 and -15.00 diopters.
- You have realistic expectations
and a good understanding of the procedure.
Previous
history of eye surgery does not disqualify you as a candidate for surgery, but
must be considered on an individual basis. |
